Egmont Eco Leisure Park & Backpackers Hostel - New Plymouth

Neat units with laundry, kids to play outside, an amazing view, and the staff were excellent. Location: the hotel was so close to nice grassy areas, and the creek. The service was superb, nothing too much trouble.

The standard family room here had everything I needed. the beds were really comfortable and I appreciated having a microwave, fridge, and kitchenware available. 😊.

really enjoyed every detail about our fantastic 2 nights stay here. it was the double room with a fairly clean bathroom.

I booked a room with a NICE bed, a kitchen area and a lounge. The location seemed lovely and excellent close to Yarrow stadium.

I had a fantastic twin room that gave me a stunning view of the garden. the staff were always kind and friendly. Plus, its amazing central location was definitely a bonus! 🌼.

The rooms were compact and reasonably large, equipped with a lounge and a chair. The bed was extremely comfy and the bathroom was clean. The location was particularly good, only 5 minutes walk to Yarrow Stadium. Moreover, it was right by the museum which was well set up interesting and informative, the bridge and the centre;)))

The place is modern, we had a pleasant stay, the staff is efficient and excellent, and all the services are great.

The accommodation here was spacious, featuring comfortable bunk beds.

I stayed in a family room for two nights, and it was perfect for the kids to play outside. the views were amazing, and to top it off, the airport was just 0.5 km away! 🏞️.

The moment I stepped into Egmont Eco Leisure Park & Backpackers, I was kinda surprised. The bush setting created a peaceful and serene atmosphere. The staff went out of their way to make my stay comfortable, always ready to help. The kitchen was well-equipped and it was nice to have the option of a cup of coffee or tea whenever I wanted. The homely vibe made me feel like I was staying at a relative's house. I would definitely choose to stay here again in the future.

While there were some minor inconveniences such as a faint smell of dampness in the room and the outdated furniture, the overall experience far outweighed these drawbacks.

Lovely location with a peaceful setting away from the busy town. The room was great and the kids enjoyed playing outside 💫.

The prices are reasonable, especially considering the spacious rooms with bunk beds that offer an amazing view. The attention to detail in providing basic amenities like a TV in the motel room and clean linens is commendable. Additionally, the location in the forest adds a unique and tranquil atmosphere to the stay.

This hotel offers great value for money. The prices are reasonable and the attention to detail is impressive. The location is nice, surrounded by nature and tucked away from road noise. The staff provides excellent service and the basic amenities are sufficient. The rooms are spacious and come with a separate sitting area, dining table, kitchen, and a massive deck. The breakfast provided in the dining area is good.

The room could use some upgrading and there is limited space to get changed or put clothes.
